Meet Dr. Ehsan Karimian

Dr. Karimian is a highly respected orthodontist completely invested in making you love your smile.

Dr. Ehsan Karimian, Orthodontist

Dr. Ehsan Karimian had both his orthodontic and dental training in the Bay Area. He received his orthodontic specialty training at the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. He also attended UCSF School of Dentistry in San Francisco for his dental training where he graduated with honors. During those years he fell in love with Marin County and all it has to offer. He also holds dental and orthodontic degrees from Iran where he had the opportunity to help people in underserved areas.

Dr. Karimian is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics. Becoming a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthodontics is a unique achievement. In order to become Board Certified, Dr. Karimian passed a comprehensive oral and written examination covering all phases of orthodontic and dentofacial orthopedic care. He also had to present to the Board detailed case reports on the treatment he provided for a broad range of orthodontic problems. This journey placed him at the top of his specialty.

Early Treatment

The American Orthodontic Association recommends that every child should be seen by an orthodontist by age 7. We invite you to bring your child in for a free orthodontic evaluation. Whether they’re ready for braces or not we will be able to give you a good idea of what’s to come for your little person.

Treatment for Teens

Orthodontics for most kids starts at around 10-12 years old. Depending upon the child and the needs, we will recommend treatment with braces or Invisalign. Treatment times vary but most kids are finished with treatment within 24 -27 month.

Adult Orthodontics

Getting braces as an adult is hard, that’s why we focus on making it easier with Invisalign and incognito (behind the teeth braces) you can have braces without anyone knowing.

Braces

Straightening teeth with braces has become a standard in America. Braces have changed a lot over the past 30 years and now the brackets are smaller and more comfortable and treatment time is better than ever before.

Invisalign

Having braces isn’t for everyone, so for adults or responsible teens, Invisalign is a great alternative. With clear aligners, teeth are straightened over the course of months.

Incognito

Many adults who need braces but don’t want the unsightly “metal mouth” choose insignia. These small braces go behind the teeth to straighten without anyone knowing.
